Koda at first seems to have his humanity in flux, and to barely if at all know what he's doing, then to later side with the demons for human reasons. Silene, and that other demon that she fuses with, seem capable of something like love. Characters like Silene, Koda, and Miko, show that demonkind and humanity aren't exactly dichotomous.
